Creating a Star Wars-Style Prologue
Step 2: Working in Paint Shop Pro

These instructions are for Paint Shop Pro, but you can use any graphics program provided it can do the following:

Open Paint Shop Pro. Open your graphics program. I used Paint Shop Pro, so the instructions will match this program. But if you have even a minimal knowledge of Photoshop or some other program, you can do the same things I'm going to do here.
Hit Control V to paste the text as a graphic.

Paste the text you copied from your word processor into Paint Shop Pro by hitting CTRL-V on your keyboard. A menu will come up showing the dimensions of the text. Click OK, and a graphic of the text will be created as shown.

Make note of the dimensions of the graphic. In this example the graphic is roughly twice as high as it is wide. This will prove important later.

Convert the graphic to a negative image. Convert the graphic to a negative image, so that the background turns black and the text turns white. This is to give the prologue transparency when we bring it into Poser.
Save the converted graphic as a JPEG and exit Paint Shop Pro.

The image should now resemble the one on the left. Save it as a .JPEG. I called mine "rocky2.jpg."

That's all the work we need to do here so we can quit our paint program now and open Poser.
