Creating a Star Wars-Style Prologue

This tutorial will show you how to create a "flying prologue" animation like the one that opens each of the Star Wars films. The text begins in the foreground at the bottom of the screen and slowly moves away from the viewer into the distant stars. The picture below is an example.

The only tools needed to create this effect are a word processor, a graphics program, and Poser. I used Microsoft Word and Paint Shop Pro, but any word processor or graphics program will do. Subsequent pages illustrate each step of the process.
